Day 1MARRAKECH - HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS - AIT BEN HADDOU - DADES VALLEY

Start your Marrakech to Fes Sahara tour with a pick-up from your riad or accommodation in Marrakech. We will depart the city and drive to the High Atlas Mountains, reaching the stunning Tizi-N-Tichka Pass, which sits at an elevation of 2,260 meters. Along the way, we will make stops to admire and explore the Berber villages and enjoy the panoramic views.

Our next stop will be the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient fortified village renowned for its unique Moroccan architecture. This historical site has been featured in movies and documentaries. It gives you plenty of time to explore the movie’s story.

After lunch, we will continue our journey on the road of 1000 kasbahs, “passing through notable towns such as Ouarzazate, Skoura, and the Valley of Roses in Kalaat M’Gouna.

Day 2DADES VALLEY - TINGHIR OASIS - TODGHA GORGES - MERZOUGA DESERT

We begin the second day of our 4 days Marrakech to Fes desert tour with a delicious breakfast. 
After breakfast, we’ll go to Tineghir, making stops at beautiful view panoramas that offer the charming view of the Berber villages and palm tree oases. We’ll take a break for a walk in this gorge.

Day 3FULL DAY TO EXPLORE THE SAHARA DESERT

Our 4×4 car will take us to meet the Berber Nomad family who live in the desert. Learn about their lifestyle and culture and how they survive in this remote area.

We’ll also visit the village of Miffis, enjoy Gnawa music in Khamlia village, and maybe see the Lake of Birds if it’s full.

After lunch, we’ll head to your riad/hotel check-in and have some free time. Take a swim or stroll to the nearby dunes. Dinner will be served in the evening, and you’ll spend the night at your riad.

You can also choose to stay another night at the desert camp if you’d like if it’s a good season, like wintertime.

Day 4MERZOUGA - ZIZ VALLEY - MIDALET - FES

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your riad, we’ll begin our journey to Fes. Along the way, we’ll make a stop at the panoramic view of the Ziz Valley.
After we reach Midelt, we will have lunch and continue our route to the Cedar Forest to see the Barbary monkeys in the forest of the Middle Atlas Mountains.
