Upon arrival in Marrakech, your 7 days Morocco desert tour from Marrakech begins with a private transfer to your riad, depending on the time of your flight. If you arrive early in the morning, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the vibrant city of Marrakech on your first day. However, if your arrival is later in the day, the tour activities will be postponed until your return to Marrakech for an overnight stay in Marrakech at a riad in Medina with breakfast included.

After breakfast, we’ll head towards Tineghir, stopping at pretty spots along the way where we can see Berber villages surrounded by palm trees.

One of the coolest things we’ll see is the Todgha Gorge, a big canyon that’s 300 meters high. We’ll take a relaxed walk around it, admiring its beauty before heading to the Merzouga desert.

When we get to the Merzouga Desert in the afternoon, get ready for a fun adventure! We’ll ride on camels through the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. We’ll stop on a big dune to watch the sunset—it’s so pretty! Then, we’ll ride to the Merzouga desert camp, where we’ll be welcomed with mint tea.

In the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner followed by Berber music around the campfire before spending the night in a comfortable desert tent under the stars.

Wake up early to catch the beautiful sunrise from the closest dune. After a tasty breakfast at the camp, we’ll begin our adventure in the Merzouga desert.

Our trusty 4×4 SUV will take us to meet the Berber nomads living behind the dunes. Learn about their lifestyle and culture as they survive in this remote area.

On day 5 of our 7 days desert tour from Marrakech, after breakfast we will leave Merzouga via the great route of the dunes, crossing the desert by the road of the Dakar race. We will stop at a panoramic view to watch the huge desert with the desert trees from above, and we will continue our trip to the village of Taouz to visit the gravures, where we will re-enter the track of the Dakar in the direction of the Erg of Ouzina and its village. It is an old Berber settlement very close to the Algerian border.

After we visit that small Berber village, we will drive through Ramlia, and then we will have our lunch there. In the afternoon we will head to Tafraoute Sidi Ali, which is famous for metal mines, and have an overnight stay in a Berber hotel with dinner and breakfast included.

After breakfast, we will cross Oumjrane towards Zagora. We’ll have lunch there and then go to Agdz. After your lunch, we make our way to Tamnougalt.

It is a kasbah and an oasis of date palms in the Atlas Mountains and is located in the Draa Valley in Morocco, approximately 75 kilometers south of Ouarzazate. The village is within driving distance of Agdez and has a famous kasbah. The Jbel Kissane rises to the north, overlooking the landscape of Anti Atlas then we continue our way to Ouarzazate, where we will spend a night there.

On the final day of 7 days Morocco desert tour from Marrakech, after breakfast. We will visit a world-famous cinema studio (Atlas Studios) in Ouarzazate. Our journey continues to the next point, Kasbah Telouet, which was built just on the caravan path between Marrakesh and the Sahara via the Ounila Valley. At last, we continue our tour towards Marrakech via the High Atlas. We will cross the beautiful valley of Ounila and the village of Telouet, where we can have lunch at a local restaurant.
