First day of our 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert, with pick-up from your riad or accommodation in Marrakech. We will depart the city for the High Atlas Mountains, reaching the stunning Tizi-N-Tichka Pass, which sits at an elevation of 2,260 meters. Along the way, we will make stops to explore charming Berber villages and panoramic views to take pictures.
After we pass the High Atlas Mountains, our next stop will be a visit to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.

After lunch in Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, we will continue our journey southward along the road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through towns such as Ouarzazate, Skoura, and the Valley of Roses in Kalaat M’Gouna.

We begin our day with a breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, we’ll set off towards Tinghir, making stops at beautiful viewpoints that offer glimpses of charming Berber villages and palm tree-filled oases. Today, we highly recommend waking up early to catch the sunrise from the nearest dune to the camp. After breakfast, you have the option to return to Merzouga town either by camel or in a 4×4 vehicle. From there, we’ll meet our driver and begin our journey back to Marrakech, but this time, we’ll take a different road along the Draa River, which is Morocco’s longest river, stretching 1100 kilometers.
